Two (2) carved wood figures, one from the Baule peoples, Ivory Coast, West Africa, and possibly used as a stopper for a vessel, and one believed to be a fetish from the Kwere peoples, Tanzania, East Africa. Dimensions (approx.): 4.5" high (larger) and 3.75" high (smaller)
PROVENANCE:From the estate of Professor Philip Gould, New York
Condition: Fair; some losses, wear consistent with age
