19th Century or early 20th century Hoe-type iron currency, Kapsiki, Cameroon, West Africa, good aged patina, with custom stand. Approximate size, 14” (16” on custom stand, Exhibited, "Africa’s Iron & Copper Currencies", Institute of African Studies, Columbia University, New York, March 2000.
Condition: Good condition, with appropriate patina; some light corrosion to stand.
