Group of (4) wrought iron currency pieces, two from the Laka/Sara peoples. Southern Republic of Chad, and two from the Fulani peoples, Eastern Nigeria or Northern Cameroon, West Africa, likely 19th century or early 20th century. Approximate size, 16.5".
PROVENANCE: From the estate of Dr. Philip Gould, New York
Condition: Fair condition, good patina, wear consistent with age.
